CGI for the virtual reality nonsense. You know those huge headsets that were big the other year, over the eyes.
So only those who had the headsets could see it…but NBC had to treat TV viewers to it so they add it on the broadcast. Don’t need it, don’t like how it’s out of sync with what people live actually see.
Go ahead and rain all over the parade.
It was very good, from what I saw. And your complaint has been true basically all my life. I cut ally wish they’d stop the commercial kid characters and go back to individual nice kids things. It doesn’t have to be all commercial Mickey and Spongebob and RonaldMcDonald (which MCDS really doesn’t use anymore!).

I was watching the Fox Sports pregame when the Pillsbury Doughboy went past, right over Jimmy’s head. I didn’t realize the parade was going on right behind them until that moment. Had a laugh over it.
I didn’t pick at him at all. The person I replied to did.
I appreciated they were trying to really perform, rather than lip-sync to their famous recording.
Which, BTW, the hip-hop K-pop girls didn’t even try to do! LOL they played some song of theirs and they moved…but didn’t even try to “lip-sync”!
Basically Ron has disappeared as McD’s tries to be hip coffee house rather than for kids.
There really was zero point in changing Ron’s look since he has honestly been banished. When do you see him on packages or ads?
Yeah, I prefer live performances vs lip sync. I do understand the effort. I have kid nieces who love K Pop and they are underrated. Not a lot of people know that before covid, K pop and J-pop girl bands that Americans never heard about were out-selling L.A. venues easy.
Don’t have a thing against them, just that in the parade, the girls did not move their lips! LOL
