I cannot understand his trying to find an excuse for this so called minister. And why allow his family to continue going to this church? When I found out that my childhood church was seeking desperately to find a reason to accept homosexuals in the church and later in positions of leadership, I left immediately. I considered staying in order to point out the obvious: God hates sin. But I had a small son and I could not put him in danger of being taught this heresy. This man is lying to himself and those members who still attend this church not knowing the truth about this apostasy. I don’t believe that Rooney has left his sinful life.
