"The head of the World Health Organization (WHO) has called for all coming Christmas events to be “canceled” due to the rise in cases of the COVID-19 variant Omicron.
WHO director-general Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has given a stark warning to the public over plans to hold Christmas gatherings this year.
The WHO chief warned that celebrating the festivities as normal would lead to “increased cases, overwhelmed health systems and more deaths.”

Many fellow Christians were surprised when I said inshallah. And I meant it. Islam means Peace. And that has been what I believed since childhood although I am Orthodox Christian. I had neighbors since childhood who were models of that Islam value. Let’s not link the ideology of some radicals to represent Islam. Islam is Peace. Let’s use our religious and Ethnic diversity to unite us and build our beloved #Ethiopia together. Our diversity is our beauty and our strength. Ethiopia means just that - diverse, colorful and Beautiful. I am so proud to be Ethiopian and so do you!
