Their daughter was the one to make all that happen, she was star at everything she did, met up with her mentor who turned out to be her lover/partner who was significantly older than her.
Emails showed the two of them were frauds and scam artists.
She attracted a whose who of rich billionaire investors along with famous Washington Power Brokers.
She scammed people like Henry Kissinger, Rupert Murdoch, James Mattis, etc...
I also liked the movies about the run-up to the 2008 economic crisis. I believe their titles were "The Big Short" and "Margin Call".
