In my city, most of the students did not test at grade level. Covid isolation was blamed and did play a major role, but the students ratings through every grade were terrible before 2020.
The Board decided to pass them on to the next grade. The schools are, once again, closed due to an innocuous variant. Remote “learning” is in effect. The students who learned nothing last year or the year before are learning less.
This has to be a deliberate, coordinated action to keep children stupid and unable to compete with the other world powers, i.e., China.
Useless children are THE PRODUCT sold by schools, to grow into dependent wards of the state; generating productive skilled workers hasn’t been the goal for decades. At this point teachers who learned nothing are posturing in front of students learning nothing.
