A picayune point. I would not call these "conservative intellectuals" either conservative or intellectuals.
I've subscribed to her "substack." She is a very good writer. She has a few positions that I think at least border on kooky, but as you note her style is fun and she makes her points clearly.
No mention of Lynn, come on, man!

True, but the political class is different from the intellectual class. The politicians are generally whores who will serve whoever keeps them in office and keeps the pork flowing. They’re not committed to any position or ideology to the degree that the intellectual class is.
I agree, but it’s just common political sense that you focus first on taking the majority back, and then you have more “breathing room” to start picking squishy people to primary in the next election. There’s no sense in risking seats when we need every one we can get desperately right now. That is not to say that the risk won’t be worth it and even essential once we have the majority back.
I’ll have to check into that. Thanks!
