“That said, school boards don’t have legal authority to demand kids wear something on their face.”

If the school can penalize you for not wearing one, then they have the authority. Some schools will choose to ignore the Governor and the School Board. Probably Cave Spring and Hidden Valley. Maybe William Fleming. The county schools will probably ditch the mask requirement.

It wouldn’t surprise me if some teachers can demand masks be worn in their classroom. The fauscism runs deep and they are in love with it.

That’s exactly my point, they’re acting as though they have the authority...in reality, by law, they don’t. They need to be sued, compliance is what is fueling their perception they have the authority. Imagine, for a moment, there’s no virus and they just decide to require everyone wear a mask because they believe it is a good idea anyway. They’d be laughed at. It’s so unconstitutional it isn’t funny. They aren’t legislators or law enforcement. People complied because they were scared. Now we see the state of things and it is absurd to continue. The kids have a right to an education. They also have a right to not wear a mask. A school board is ONLY a school board, yet they’re behaving as though they have absolute authority.

None of it would withstand a lawsuit, you can prove harm easily.
