This TV ad from TurboTax is the most racist TV ad I've ever seen. It has a black man repeatedly and intentionally spitting on a white man. Unless you're an anti-white racist, don't use TurboTax or other products from Intuit.
If you want to help do something about ads like this:
- like this video. A like doesn't mean you support the ad, it means you oppose it. If this video gets enough likes, Youtube won't be able to bury it.
- send this video to reporters & urge them to call Turbo Tax on it. You can email them or contact them via social media.
- contact TurboTax via email and social media. Do the same with their corporate parent, Intuit (stock symbol: INTU). Reach out to their users in forums, on social media, etc and make sure they know what Intuit thinks of them. Do the same with Intuit companies: Credit Karma, Mint, MailChimp, etc. If you can, contact Intuit CEO Sasan Goodarzi and other executives directly.
- the ad agency that made this ad is Wieden+Kennedy. Contact them & let them know they got their client a lot of ill will.

TurboTax and TaxAct kept jacking up their prices. F-them.
Second post after a four-year break? I smell zottage . . .
First of all spitting on anyone is pretty damn disgusting. Doing it the age or COVID pretty pathetic way to get a laugh…..especially when he aims at the guy to do it.
You are correct. I don’t look for racism either, but it was pretty darn blatant in this one. Not sure? Switch the races and check out the reaction.
Like the ad?
LOL!
Fed...Fed...Fed...Fed...
Yes, and a four-year absence.
Agree
3 times in a row is a black thing.
You wouldn’t understand
Can you imagine the uproar if they showed it the other way?
These really arent spit takes despite what some of the posters are claiming. Thats an entirely different reaction than what is shown and the spitter doesnt intentionally aim at anyone which is part of what makes a spit take “humorous”.
It could be “racist” and intentionally so. They had a commercial a few years back with a black guy that caused all kinds of people to get hysterical because it was “racist”. Maybe they are trying to buy back the mob that previously quit using them.
Of course there was another commercial they had where the white guy was a moron and I dont remember anyone getting too hysterical about that one.
I think the company they use for commercials just has a history of bad acting/bad writing and it tends to really come off then as tone deaf to public sensitivities and is therefor offensive to different segments in each different year.
They have us so divided that we can’t mix races when using a straight man in a comedy situation?
Because in today's advertising, the white male is typically a dim witted, subservient putz who is ridiculed his "superiors".
Yup.

Forget the racism bit. The ad is disgusting. Next year, they will be vomiting across the room.
It’s racist.
Reverse the roles and everyone would hear the screams.
White people should not buy the product.
And that’s all I got to say about that.
(Forrest Gump Voice)
Under normal circumstances, I would not pay attention to this, but given the zeitgeist of the last 20 years and the events of the last 2, yes, it needs to be called out.
Blacks should not buy it either.
