What I tell young men is there is a very simple solution to this problem—if you want to marry a woman make sure she has better job prospects and wealth than you do.

Then suddenly the risk/reward analysis looks a lot different....

“Marrying up” in wealth and income is not that difficult for young men these days.

It really is like a free insurance policy—with a lot of the risk gone, you can relax and be happy—whoever you are.

(True story—I know a distant relative—male—who inherited a ridiculous amount of wealth. He was terrified that women would only marry him for his money and then treat him badly.
It took him a while, but he managed to find a women that he wanted to marry from a family wealthier than his. They have been happily married for many decades. They don’t even argue about charities—they have separate bank accounts so they can make their own choices.)

You are correct. The adversarial legal model under "no-fault", a fundamental contradiction that can only be addressed through denial of justice, is extremely destructive. Everyone suffers—mothers, fathers and children—except for the divorce industry practitioners who profit off the misery of others.

Once feminism drove women over to the male standard of "courtship"—sex outside of marriage—the entire system crashed and burned. Now, only a minority percentage of lucky ones escape a soul-scourging in the attempt to find or keep a life partner.
