It's Come On Take A Chance by Gene McDaniels (1961). It's definitely in my top ten. I grew up listening to this one, so of course it's going to be special to me. It's the flip side of A Hundred Pounds Of Clay.
The lyrics of this one are full of newsmakers and celebrities. In later versions, the reference to Premier Patrice Lumumba of Congo LĂ©opoldville was cut out following his murder in January, 1961, but this is the original.
