Yeah, I have always liked Little Darlin’, but Mona Lisa is better in so many ways.
"Mona Lisa" would have been my pick if it had made it to the final round. During its chart run, it spent several weeks at #1 in the summer of 1950 while "Little Darling" never made it to the top spot. However, the Diamonds' opus almost certainly saw a lot more action on the Oldies playlists in subsequent years.
