Uh oh. Disney better close down Disney World immediately to protest this horrible development. After all, isn’t a “clear conscience worth a few bucks” ?

Well, Mr. Chapek needn’t worry. It’s not as though I plan to set foot in his parks until he gets his corporate scum head straight, anyhow.

Well said, but Mr. Chapek is into more than a few bucks. He has single-handedly made a trip to Disney the most complicated and expensive endeavor ever!

Trust me when I say the mouse has his hand in your pocket the entire time you are on Disney property, only now Chapek has stripped away all of those benefits of staying on property while at Disney.

One example, the Disney Magical Express used to pick you up ate the Orlando Airport and then take you and your party to your Disney Resort, included in this was luggage services where you place your Disney tags on your suitcases when you depart home, and then you bags magically show up in your room usually within 2-3 hours after you arrive.

Now, you pay for your own Uber or Mears bus ticket, and must spend an hour or more standing in the Orlando airport waiting for your luggage to arrive.

I was visiting in December for a work conference and staying at Disney’s Yacht club. My wife joined me and was working from our resort room. Every day, despite the do not disturb sign on the door, (my wife’s work has her on the phone constantly), someone would knock and say that they needed to see the room for security purposes. On the third day, they knocked, and before my wife could excuse herself from her call to answer the door, a man entered the room.

Had I been there I would have knocked his teeth out of his face. That said, Chapek has done what I could not; turn off my wife to planning any more Disney trips.
