If Tucker had shut up more, she would have further exposed her logical fallacy.

I watched that segment last night. Salazar is as greasy and false as they come. She thinks that Zelenskyy should be setting our foreign policy. Bit amnesty advocate.

As evil as they come.

Her arrogance is exceeded only by her ignorance. Just barely.

It was an amazing display.

One amazing interview.

Shows exactly how stupid some are and why they should never be allowed into public life.

Same here. I had to stop after like 3 minutes. It was painful to watch. Her Roseanne Roseannadanna voice and plastic-surgery-enhanced face, combined with Tucker Carlson doing his Tucker Carlson thing... well, it was just too much.

Maria Salazar is one of the most left-wing Republicans in congress.

Here are the eleven house Republicans who voted to remove Marjorie Taylor Greene from all committee assignments:

Maria Salazar (R-FL)
Reps. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL)
Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA)
Carlos Gimenez (R-FL)
John Katko (R-NY)
Young Kim (R-CA)
Adam Kinzinger (R-IL)
Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY)
Chris Jacobs (R-NY)
Chris Smith (R- NJ)
Fred Upton (R-MI)

I don’t agree with Russia’s invasion, but I do not support
putting our nation on the line for this situation. If the
lines are attempted to be redrawn further in upcoming months,
then we’ll have to face the reality that this is not as
innocent as Russia’s defenders have attempted to frame it.

We’ll see...

When a politician answers direct questions claiming it’s a “hypothetical” that pretty much tells me she’s trying to dodge the question. Tucker threw her a softball when asking why should the U.S. send border troops to Ukraine and not protect our own border. She simply could have said: It’s wrong to ignore our borders and Biden is to blame.

The problem was, she kept saying one really crazy thing after another, it had to be difficult to let her speak when everything out of her mouth was insane.

She is the perfect establishment Republican, hispanic, female, and attractive former TV personality, who the first thing she gets behind in Congress is Amnesty.

It’s a trend, remember Marco Rubio was a rising star at one time who came out of nowhere to become a US Senator, once there the establishment got behind him to support immigration reform aka amnesty and he’s never recovered in my mind.

Maria Salazar is the same thing, she’s a female Marco Rubio.

Yup. They were talking over each other throughout most of the interview. Unwatchable. Tucker can be a pretty good interviewer when he agrees with a guest, which is most of the time. But when he doesn’t, the interruptions are constant.

Well, it certainly was some combination of painful/hilarity but I thought it was mostly because Tucker was trying to gracefully exit the interview as fast as he could... he’d almost get there but then she’d say something else that was goofy and it became difficult to find the exit point.

I don’t think it’s debatable, the Cold War is back. During Cold War I the peace was kept by an acknowledged and accepted “sphere of influence” stalemate. Containment was used to maintain that balance of power and its consequent peace. Prior to the destruction of the Warsaw Pact, we had an equilibrium in Europe. Take a look at what has happened to that equilibrium over the past 30 years. For Russia, this is the last domino. NATO will be on the border, 300 miles from Moscow. That “sphere of influence” mutual doctrine that kept the peace has now been unilaterally scraped. I was 5 during the Cuban Missile Crisis so I don’t remember it. We have never been closer, in the last 60 years, to our worst nightmare than we are right now. I have 9 beautiful grandchildren and would not risk one hair from their heads to prop up the corrupt Ukrainian regime. There are no proxies left if DC sends in NATO. It will be American pilots in American planes killing Russians. You tell me what comes after that.

I’m gonna cut her just a little slack because she’s still relatively hot and she defeated Donna Shalala in the last election.

I like Carlson, but that wasn’t one of his finer moments. He out-Ingrahamed Laurs Ingraham in his constant interrupting and badgering.
