My Soviet paratrooper friend was very quiet today. My Polish friend who used the be a tank commander in their army is quite worried about his countrymen - the Soviets are moving near their border again too.
My Ukrainian friend (ex Ukrainian Army living in BC) is effing livid - he says those who are still there will fight until the last man to push the Russians out.
If Russia does indeed take Ukraine, no Russian will ever be safe there.
