I’ve been suspended several times the last year on ND. Since our whole region is liberalland, that doesn’t surprise me. But it really stepped up in the last 2 years, where COVID and “the election” are OFFICIALLY part of their rules. One recent thread a “colored” lady posted about her scary experience with a (I think crazy) man stalking her and her husband around the lake. People asked for descriptions and some even posted men they wondered if could be the same. She mentioned maybe he was Hispanic. Oh boy. Several had to jump on her for daring to mention anything like that. I defended it as did a couple others. People are insane these days.
I saw a thread a few weeks ago that made my blood boil. A neighbor had posted a ring video of two men “trying” car doors (to see if they were unlocked) around 2 a.m. The thread took a beyond liberal-stupid turn when a few people remarked that perhaps “these men are hungry, poor and are looking for spare change to feed themselves”. Wow. And yes... I believe the only reason it was said was because the men were “Amish”. That being said, an obvious neighbor with more conservative values with regards to criminality and law enforcement remarked that if they were hungry, they could simply fill bags of steak, lobster etc and walk out of the local grocery stores (which is occurring here as well). We live in stupid times!
