Strictly speaking, it is not true. Everybody was talking about the Russian buildup at border, but nobody was talking about the Ukrainian buildup against Donetsk, which was of similar sized force and predated the Russian buildup.

Exactly. Just as the US did in Serbia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria. As well as waging proxy wars in Yemen and Egypt. And Ukraine is a bigger threat to Russia than any of those countries ever were to us.
