There are always 30 wars going on and it may shock you to learn people have a right to decide what they care about most.
Let me know how many of those wars
1 Are in Europe
2 Involve the largest European country against the 2nd largest
3. Involve our nuclear adversary as the aggressor
4 involve countries that have a huge impact on world food and oil supplies
5 will give Russia Black Sea access
6 would give Russia access to Poland
7 That will likely lead to China attacking Taiwan
The list could be longer but please take a look at those 30 wars and let me know if any of them match the reasons I’m concerned about Ukraine - plus humanitarian reasons.
I can’t help it that you are unaware of the strategic importance of this particular war.
And I can't help it if none of the factors listed appears sufficient to justify US involvement in a conflict, that could easily escalate (intentionally or unintentionally) into a nuclear war. Bear in mind that the war is unlikely to ever involve nuclear weapons, if we let the Europeans handle it, but would be much more likely to 'go nuclear' if the US continues to increase its participation. Ukraine was not worth going to war over, when it was in the USSR, and it's certainly not worth risking war with Russia today...
>5 will give Russia Black Sea access
How, exactly, will Russia’s war with Ukraine give them Black Sea access? The last I looked, Turkey controls the Bosporus and Dardenelles.
I’ll wait patiently.
Well said sir.
Too late. Our senators went to Taiwan yesterday to talk war.
War with China, imo and that of others too, was always the real goal. Russia was a threat as a China helper so first they had to wear her down for awhile.
Now China is UP. Their turn.
So here is my question...will China content itself with a proxy war in Taiwan?
