I can’t imagine the Framers of The Constitution EVER thought we’d come to the point where a ‘Ministry Of Truth’ would even be debated!

Oh no they envisioned it. when Ben Franklin said that they had “created a Republic if we could keep it.” (paraphrase), Franklin understood that later generations could easily view the Constitution as scratch paper. Just over 230 years later, I’d say we are well past that point.
Usurpation Day proved that.
