Sadly the menu in a lot of restaurants has shrunk to tract sized.

Some of my favorite, slightly obscure items have vanished.

But, if you know the waitress you can ask if she will beseech the cook to turn out a dish from that old time menu.

If they have the ingredients and the know how you are in for a treat of Biblical proportions.
