I’ve heard the same from him as some of my FBI acquaintances and that’s the DC HQ is corrupt from one end to the other and the field offices focus on the job.
I am rather critical of law enforcement but will say that most US Atty offices and most FBI field offices do good work. For example Jacksonville Beach FL FBI office does an amazing job on child trafficking and they deserve massive kudos for that.
