The FBI could have bribed a member of Trump’s staff to go on record and make statement about certain hidden documents. Not with knowledge, mind you, but to just make a statement that was later going to be proved “inaccurate”. But by then the FBI would have got what they wanted. This was just like the Steele Dossier. Use a phony document or an unverifiable statement to get a surveillance or search warrant and use the warrant to go looking for anything they could find. It’s the FBI’s standard M.O.

You’re being disingenuous: Bribing is beneath them. It’s demonstrable, time & again.

This is what the FBI does. I guarantee that they targeted staff - or even SS - and got something they could use to turn them in exchange for either keeping secrets ‘secret’ or no prosecution for their off-work activities.

It’s par for the course with this corrupt branch of the democrat party.
