Simple... because only one party is inherently dishonest and cheats. Democrats cannot maintain power if they cannot offset their declining votes by scheming for manufactured ones. They will lie, deceive, steal, stuff and count fake ballots till they win. They couldn’t care less for the suckers and useful idiots they con/buy to vote for them. It’s all about fraud, easy-money, power and self enrichment. They are politicians because they are dishonest. It is a profession of deception. A Ponzi-like scheme to keep their snake-oil con game going by finding more idiots to believe their lies along with constantly finding new ways to manufacture the votes they need that will keep their base growing faster than they are losing votes at the top due to Dem/independent voters waking up to the DNC hustle & lies... realizing they’ve been holding a worthless bill-of-goods sold to them by scammers.
