As Dr. Malone says at the end of his article, there has been no public discussion on the moral and ethical implications of creating cyborgs. My question is why are these lunatics not satisfied with developing robots? Why do they have to mess with God's creation? What is it with these arrogant SOBs that give them a license to re-engineer God's creation into their version of man? Who are they and where do they come from? Only a lunatic would want a body that is part man and part computer. Every human is created in the image of God and every human has a sacred duty to preserve his body and soul as it was created at the moment of conception and nurtured in the womb.

Because, if it can be done, some scientist somewhere in the world is going to do it.

That's just human nature.

He/We are behind. The time for conversation has passed. There were attempts, but we seemed to be so invested in rabbit holes that nobody paid attention. Cyborg/transhumanism already had its own sub-culture. Artificial wombs and the first virgin birth in a mammal have been accessable for 6-7 years. Read ‘Re-Genesis: How synthetic biology
will reinvent nature and ourselves’ which came out in 2014 and active, again, for about 6-7 years.

The people behind the effort to artificially “enhance” humans are the same people who now pretend to be distressed at any and all damage to our natural environment.

As it happens, they are the same people who have, for over 100 years, benefited immensely from the destruction done to the same natural environment they now claim to protect.

Apparently they only thing they’re really good at is.....hypocrisy.
