It’s always interesting to see what people felt at the time. Political cartoons are fascinating, especially in hindsight when you see how well people hit their current situation on the nose.

It can also be incredibly depressing. Those who can pinpoint their political, economoc, and societal problems so easily rarely have the power to do anything to change their circumstances.

Also: No kidding the Arabs were pro-Nazi. Indiana Jones got that right.

The ironic part was that Hitler, despite his fixation on "Aryan-ism," thought highly of the Muhammadan Arab Nazis, very few of whom were blond-haired or blue-eyed.

Exactly. Though I do consider also the facts, that most of the world did not know about the scope of atrocities (which began in 1941) till 1942... BTW, in the early 1930s, Hitler was first treated in a dismissive way in some circles, or as a weirdo.
