Nearly every professional organization has turned into this type of thing. Their purpose is to be the agents of the state regulating the professions. They will adopt the state's positions on every issue of consequence, and take your license away if you dissent.
There needs to be a mass exodus out of these orgs.

Cui bono? The left made a ton of money off of abortions. Just when the tide has turned against mass abortion, we see child mutilation. Call me cynical, but I think that this whole trans fad is a money making scheme by some really mentally ill people. I mean if you can do an abortion without a guilty conscience why not hack up a kid for a Maserati? In the end, it’s all about eugenics and population control.

I have some doubts about the actuality of these alleged threats.
But it would be nice to hear these medical authorities justify a rise in child gender surgeries. The real numbers of gender displasia (?) are miniscule and to permit these surgeries on young people at the instance of parents who may have some weird political philosophy about gender that persuades them to assume that their minor children need this is itself criminal.
