Alexander is very informed

Admits when wrong unlike 90% here

And qualified things from both sides is questions motives of or veracity of

His view is like mine

A waste of lives over a secession heavily supported by the citizens

Who endured ukrop militia atrocities for years

Of course that make one putinista here

This forum has always been very short of nuance and often facts

Whatever the topic

Meat and taters people here

Medium rare

Au gratin my ass

Without getting into the nitty gritty of it, there were “secession” movements ostensibly supported by the citizens in various parts of Georgia and in Crimea. These “secession” movements are part of Putin’s MO. So forgive me if I’m skeptical of this, which appears to be the same trick that he’s pulled repeatedly. Boy who cried “secession”.

Also, Alexander is completely wrong when he says that Russia has not threatened to use nukes. He has done so several times, especially since the Uke offensive has been gaining ground.
