One thing I’ll NEVER understand is why he didn’t just skip out of the debate (or even try to stall it for a few more days of early voting, then skip out). After all, he was going up against a TV personality, which is hard enough on its own, and beyond that, Biden PROVED that a candidate with brain damage can still win (discounting the cheating factor, of course).
Try this explanation: Fetterman’s campaign read the results of their internal polls, (not the lying crap the media publishes), and knew he was cruisin’ to a losin’. With that in mind, the debate wasn’t much of a risk for Fetterman (it could hurt other Dem candidates, but that’s their problem). A better-than-pathetic performance by Fetterman, or an error by Dr Oz, and the Dem media would proclaim Uncle Fester the winner. Oops.
