blunt the vein of populism...

The very thing that is putting DeSantis on the map. And the only reason he’s even there is because of Pres Trump. Not so much because the President endorsed him 4 years ago, where he barely beat the crack head he ran against.

For now, DeSantis is doing a good job of portraying himself as an ‘outsider’, non-DC Establishment type of guy. He talks like a regular guy at his press conferences and pushes back on the media. Something that President Trump is/was an expert at. As is Kari Lake and, truth be told, as much of a Trump guy as I am, even he can’t handle the press like Lake does. Neither of them can.

That woman is a straight up assassin when it comes to destroying the press.

DeSantis comes across as being a populist. Whether Griffin wants to acknowledge it. And when it comes to comparing him to other GOP Governors, he doesn’t have any competition. There isn’t one that is willing to do and say the things he does and says. When you look at guys like Kemp, Ducey, Dewine, Hutchison, and all the rest, he’s leaps and bounds ahead of the curve, but that isn’t saying much.

Either way, Griffin and the rest aren’t dropping that coin out of the goodness of their hearts. That IOU will be presented at some point.

That’s not an IOU that President Trump wants or would accept.

This treehouse character seems confused

He accuses Desantis of being a GOPestablishment corporatist. But he never mentions Desantis’s roasting of the Disney corp. Desantis took major heat from Republican corporatists, like Asa Hutchinson and Larry Hogan, because he called out this woke Disney corp for opposing his child-protection legislation. Desantis even stripped Disney of some sweetheart tax perks. The media and a lot of traditional GOP bigwigs cried that it wasn’t “conservative” to go after private companies. Desantis replied that his duty was to the welfare and rights of his constituents

Desantis said the same thing when he banned vaccine mandates by private employers

Does Mr “Treehouse” think his readers are so dumb they’ll forget those things???

“ That’s not an IOU that President Trump wants or would ”

Trump took donations from this guy, along with all the other big donors.

I’m pro Trump, but when did Trump once stand up to a wile corporation the way Desantis stood up to Disney, and the way Desantis banned vaccine mandates by private employers?

Treehouse is dishonest or memory-impaired. Either way, he’s not someone to take seriously

Great one-liner summary of her media interactions.

this looks like an attempt by a liberal to insert a wedge into the republican party. the fact that he is public about what he is doing only makes sense if it is an attempt to create a division in the party.
