TV and radio are “free” because they’re selling/advertising.
What folks don’t realize is that the “news” itself is a sales pitch in many cases. A sales pitch for a new product, vaccine, or politician... It’s just packaged up a little different than a normal advertisement.
There is no such thing as a free lunch. TV and radio are no exception. Social media is free because they are collecting and selling your information. TV and radio is free because they are “selling” you something, and that includes politically backed and organized groups like BLM, climate change, abortion, some feminist, LGBTQIA cause or when they talk about the border... All are actually liberal sales pitches pretending to be news.
