If you mean Matt Gaetz, they are on opposite sides of the McCarthy issue. He is adamant that McCarthy must go! (They see eye to eye on almost everything else.)

The jerk knees here couldn't figure that out on their own. The reason is obvious.
That's weak. The vote for Speaker isn't until the new Congress convenes in January. Right now it's all about mounting a campaign internally to get your choice in there and once that campaign is over, the party gets behind the winner for the eventual vote. Knowing, however, such a campaign is doomed because the House RINOs will give up the Speakership rather vote for a conservative, MTG must figure she has a shot of getting out of the wilderness by supporting McCarthy like this.
Let them elect a Democrat Speaker of the House. Let them elect Liz Cheney. Let them do this and then let’s see what happens to our representative government. Just bring it out in the open.
