My main reason to start the thread - to complain about THIS year there being a Homo band featured!

Nothing is surprising anymore. Nothing is decent and kid-friendly anymore.

Why form a group based purely on sexuality, and mental illness? Much less parade it for everyone to be forced to discuss?

Having grown up with the parade, i’m here to say it’s a disaster. I turned it off after 20 mins. All I saw were blacks, gays and media prostitutes spouting left wing propaganda. I’m on to turkey and football!

My son watched it (we got up later), said they talked to Biden.

He says he swore he heard Biden asking if the parade was in New York!

People actually watch that? I've been in WAY too many parades to sit and watch one.

Longest, hottest one was the Coca-Cola 100th Anniversary Parade in Atlanta in 1986. It must have been three miles, with all the glass buildings reflecting the heat.

For contrast, most parades are under one mile.

I just looked it up. The Macy's Parade is two and a half miles, but not in Atlanta summer heat.

The whole thing is a production not a parade. I used to like to watch in simpler times when balloons and marching bands were in the parade. No celebrities except Santa Clause to stop the flow.

Now it is an abomination like a disney super bowl show, unwatchable.

Problem is that parade has been turned into a 3 hr infomercial
for Hollyweird and Broadway celebrity

Every loser turns up here where saccharine hosts fawn over them

The bands/baton twirler/flag wavers are totally ignored having spent all year practicing and raising money for the trip
