Retail is the most cut-throat, back stabbing career anyone could experience.
Everyone is out to take someone else down to advance their career, by any means possible.
Wow, that is as cynical a comment as I have ever read. I worked ten years in computer stores, at the dawn of Apple computer retail, when the very first Macintosh computers came out. I will admit that the business owners that I worked for were greedy bastards, they were just trying to make a buck. I worked for 3 of those places, and I knew another computer store owner after they had all gone out of business. Make no mistake, their practices ended their businesses.
It was the employees who did all the interacting with the public, and it was more about competition for a sale than trying to harm someone in the pursuit of a sale.
