Wonder if it takes less time to train a beaver on the NATO equipment on the way than it takes to train Ukrainians?

Someone suggest it to Stoltenberg.

More beavers would make sense, especially in the nuclear contaminated area north of the capital. No people for years, population increases, they move into the now suitable areas where Ukranians have departed to safer places. Ukraine army or biologists should capture reproductive beaver pairs from where there is some overcrowding and move them to additional depopulated areas near Belarus with suitable water resources. Put that Beaver Army to work! Unfortunately these transplantings of beaver pairs will have to wait for spring. But the Army coul put in more small dams to replicate the marshy beaver landscape along any suitable border.

When I was checking out the Kherson recapture, I read the city was on somewhat elevated ground. On the other hand the Russians were moving across the river to lower marshy ground. I wonder if there were also beavers who had responded to wartime depopulation preparing the ground to welcome the retreating Russians??

Beaver Traps are common in Ukraine.

Their pelts are much valued by the Rus.

Wouldn’t work very much. There are few places at our southern border that are wet enough for a beaver defense.

Did you forget to add a sarcasm tag?
Or have you really never heard of Jaco Pastorious?

Well done!

We both are now participating in the tradition of bawdy Shakespeare! A powerful method of satire.
