Maybe; I don't know for sure.

I do know that individuals have lots of rights in the U.S. that are violated all the time by big business, big tech, big education, big unions, big sports, big entertainment, big medicine, big government and the big double justice system. And I know it is hard for the little man to enforce fair play.

One thing these big confident organizations do understand: getting hit up side the head good and hard by somebody not afraid of them. Someone that wins elections by 20 percentage points.

Governor DeSantis has done that and I think they have been rattled. You may have noticed Disney is walking softly in Tallahassee as of late; with their hat in their hands.

This is pretty much the same thing as the Colin Kaepernick fiasco, but with two important distinctions:

1. Ivan Provorov is the top defenseman on the Flyers, and is getting paid $6.75M this season under the terms of his contract. His contract is with the Flyers, not the NHL … and under the terms of both his contract and the agreement between the NHL and NHLPA the league pretty much has no say in what happens on the ice during pregame warmups.

2. The Flyers have an old-school fan base that loves hockey, loves good hockey players, and doesn’t give a sh!t about rainbow flags and all that crap.
