A 22LR shot from a rifle is supersonic so even with a suppressor you’ll get that distinctive crack sound. If the suppressor slows the bullet down below the speed of sound it will be pretty quiet.

Many companies make subsonic ammo.

A properly installed suppressor will not reduce the velocity of a projectile.

An improperly installed suppressor can produce exciting results.

Yep, CCI makes subsonic ammo fo the .22 LR. One round is barley subsonic and the other is called Quiet .22 at about 670 fps.

A suppressor will not slow a bullet down. Nor will it stop the pop you hear when the bullet break the sound barrier. There’s a solution, subsonic ammo. Any ammo that has less than 1200 fps at sea level is considered subsonic. Use that load with a suppressor your .22 is pretty quiet, staple gun quiet. Here’s a fun little .22 that didn’t make the list. Tippman Arms M4-22 Micro-Elite/CGS HYDRA-LA suppressor. Fun,fun fun. That gun and my unsuppressed Henry .22LR Octagon barrel lever action rifle are the 2 most popular guns with the kids, grandkids and great-grandkids when they come over and want to shoot. I use subsonic ammo in a bolt action when using the suppressor. The suppressor isn't slowing the bullet down. It is capturing the high pressure gas progressively and bleeding off the pressure to mute the muzzle blast. The subsonic round doesn't have a supersonic "crack". If you shoot a supersonic round e.g. CCI MiniMag, you still benefit from the reduced muzzle blast through the suppressor, but the bullet will make a supersonic "crack".
