Drudge is looong gone. It is totally on the dark side and has been for at least 6 years
You guys should try making your own site. It sounds real easy, doesn’t it. Not only to get big, but to stand tall on all your convictions without caving in to anyone!

I can tell you just from back in the early 2000s, back when things were relatively tamer, that as soon as you get big, your world gets flipped on you. Everyone is coming from you, and a lot of them come at you sideways. You can’t trust ANYONE, and you don’t know who the badguys are because almost no one is who you think they are and the worst ones know how to play really nice and they’re patient. You don’t know who is organized, deep, foreign or domestic, and these days, it’s probably the domestic side that has the most to power. It’s almost like a world of espionage, except you don’t know you’re supposed to keep your guard up. I can’t even imagine what it would be like these days having so many well funded NGOs and well organized front groups out there. You can get paranoid, and in public it almost seems like people are looking at you differently, or whispering when you aren’t looking. When they target family, friends, and co-workers, they sneak in through their social media, start making friends, gleen information, and wait in the weeds. They’ll hack, trick, phish, surveil, and they’ll troll. Oh yes, the molls-and-trolls technique isn’t just for government spying. When they get people embedded, they’ll stir the pot, because when you get threatened, or riled, or turned-about, you look for friends and allies where you can find them, and that’s what they want.
I don’t know a damned thing about Drudge. Never even used the site back in the day when it seemed popular. So I’m not defending. I think Limbaugh dropped the name a lot. But I’m just suggesting, when you puff your chest and complain that someone couldn’t stand up to the arrows and traps of the world, for years and for decades, that maybe you don’t know what it’s really like.
