This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

“1/ Cadets at the Moscow Police College have reported an attempt to forcibly mobilise them en masse under false pretences. They say they were locked in a hall while attempts were made to get them to sign up to join the army. They had to call the police to be released.
2/ According to the Russian ‘Mobilisation News’ Telegram channel, “the cadets were assembled under the pretext of rehearsing a graduation ceremony. But representatives of the military enlistment office came to the meeting.
3/ “The students said that they were detained for an hour and a half in the college on Fabritiusa Street by their teachers - department head Vyacheslav Rozhko and teachers Sergey Vasilyev and Alexei Novikov, as well as 2 representatives of the Tushino military enlistment office.”
4/ The students were handed mobilisation orders by the military registration and enlistment office staff and were pressured to sign them. However, they refused, leading an impasse in which they were locked into the hall while their instructors refused to let them go.
5/ Mobilisation News reports that student Maxim G., 19, “called the police asking for help. The boy said that he was a cadet in a police college and that he and his classmates had been locked in the auditorium to force him to go to the front.”
6/ The police students were released after the police arrived at the police college to free them from the police instructors. The incident likely reflects another example of Russia’s ongoing ‘quiet mobilisation’, targeting state employees. /end”

“Ukraine appears to attack deep into Russian-occupied territory.
KYIV, Ukraine — Ukraine appears to have stepped up its assaults on positions deep into Russian-held territory, with nearly a dozen explosions reported overnight into Wednesday in the southern port city of Mariupol and explosions in other occupied parts of Ukraine, according to Ukrainian officials, local residents and video.
The areas are outside the known range of the American-made HIMARS missile systems that Ukraine has in its arsenal.
In occupied areas of the Donetsk, Luhansk and Kherson regions, there were explosions throughout the night, and air defenses were at work, according to reports and video.
In Mariupol, which has been under the control of the Russians since they laid siege to the city in the spring, the exiled City Council reported at least 11 explosions. Russian forces have turned the city into a major garrison, because it was thought to be out of the range of HIMARS from the nearest Ukrainian stronghold around the ruined mining town of Vuhledar.
The number of strikes, their targets and the impact on Russian forces were not immediately known, although the Mariupol City Council said on Wednesday morning that one of the explosions had destroyed a Russian ammunition warehouse in the central district near the airport.
The Ukrainian General Staff said only that Ukraine’s air force had launched eight attacks on the temporary bases of Russian troops and two strikes on the positions of Russia’s anti-aircraft missile systems. It offered no details on the locations of the strikes.
Kyiv has been begging its Western allies for longer-range weapons to attack concentrations of Russian troops, supply lines, command centers and ammunition depots. While Ukrainian officials have expressed confidence that such weapons would soon arrive, military analysts said it was likely that they would be used on the battlefield before being announced to catch Russian forces by surprise.
Ukraine has used long-range attack drones to target Russian positions outside the known range of HIMARS.”

Today the big news is coming from the south.
Here, after a series of losses, the Russians realized that their forces were exhausted, so they organized a huge reinforcement of fresh troops and tanks and even started relocating Wagner forces from Bakhmut to Vuhledar.
However, it looks like the Ukrainians have finally received long-range missiles and immediately took an opportunity to make sure that they never get to the front.
Last time I told you that the Ukrainians conducted a massively successful counterattack and pushed the Russians all the way to Mykilske, essentially annihilating 100% of their progress over the last month.
I also told you that the Russians tried to return back at least the residential area immediately, but their assault units were completely demolished.
Many analysts expected that the Russians would take a few days to bomb this region, accumulate forces and try to push the Ukrainians out once again, however, this did not happen. Some sources reported engagements on the hills to the north, but they were insignificant.
Later, it became clear that Russian forces in this region had simply been degraded to the point where conducting huge attacks was not an option.
We could already observe these signs during their counterattack last time when some units retreated the moment something did not go according to their plan.
But a decisive indicator became an announcement from the Mariupol mayor that the Russians were preparing to reinforce Vuhledar with 5 thousand more troops. He specified that they would be accompanied by 20 T-62 tanks.
Simultaneously, local people started publishing footage of buses in Mariupol, which were escorted by cars with Wagner forces insignia.
After that Ukrainian Melitopol mayor reported that 43 busses full of Wagner troops were being relocated from Donbas to Zaporizhzhia, and it is expected that they will substitute the degraded marine brigade near Vuhledar.
Although 43 busses are much less 5 thousand troops, it is possible that they would be sent with the elements of the regular Russian army. But it seems like not every one of them will get to the front.
Today a series of huge explosions were reported on the outskirts of Mariupol. The Russians have turned Mariupol into a big base where they keep a lot of troops and supplies.
But Mariupol is located 75 km away from Vuhledar, which means that HIMARS should have got really close to one of the most active front lines in order to make a shot.
It is highly unlikely that the Ukrainians would have risked it, so at first, I thought it might have been sabotage.
However, the latest Russian reports suggest that the Ukrainians have finally received GLSDB rockets, which can destroy targets located up to 150 km away.
One Russian source said that at least one HIMARS crew has already received a package, which strongly indicated that a series of explosions on Russian bases in Mariupol were caused by these new long-range missiles. It looks like this is only the beginning.
It took the Russians more than half a year to adjust to an 80 km range and push their logistical centers deeper inside their territories.
So, with a sudden twofold extension of artillery range, Ukrainian artillery now has a lot of fresh targets. The biggest Russian problem is that they cannot afford to push their logistical centers even deeper.
The Russians already have severe problems with bottleneck and short-term deficits due to the destruction of ammunition depots, and moving them further will exacerbate the problem even more, especially given that in many places, like in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, the Ukrainians cover the whole territory.
Overall, the Ukrainians have finally received longer-range missiles and have successfully struck one of the main Russian bases that they built specifically to avoid HIMARS strikes.
Over the next several months, we will likely see a lot of fire missions, especially in the areas of deployment of the newly mobilized soldiers.
But for now, it looks like the Ukrainians are preventing the Russians from reinforcing the Vuhledar group, which will allow them to retain the initiative.

Russian MoD says it is supplying PMC with shells and ammo; PMC says they are lying; they cut the supply of shells and ammo, plus they have withheld PMC from using trucks to transport and banned them from using aviation.
The whole conflict is all over social media and in the open, but Russian trolls say it’s not happening, but it is. This internal conflict has bogged down the attack on Bakhmut which they would otherwise have taken a week ago.
According to Ukrainian officials, Israel is getting ready to supply the Iron Dome anti-air system to Ukraine. Ukrainian delegation went to Ulraine yesterday to discuss supplying this system. Whatever problems there were, are now solved.

President Biden is today attending the summit of the Bucharest 9 Format in Warsaw. The group was created in 2015 by 9 countries on NATO’s eastern flank in response to Russia’s annexation of Crimea. It serves to coordinate defense cooperation in Central Eastern Europe.
