When they were freed, we should have shipped them back to Africa. Lincoln wanted to. The already freed blacks, like Fredrick Douglas, were against it, mostly because THEY didn't want to be forced to go back to Africa. Screw what would have been good for the vast majority of the uneducated, angry slaves. These elite blacks didn't want to go back to the motherland and face the brutality there.
