Does the King of Saudi Arabia have a tin ear? He seems not to notice just how horrible his military band is.

If they’re reading the music from right to left that might be the snag 😏

The acoustics are horrible. Want to bet the loud sour note is a Saudi prince?

It takes literally generations of musicians to create good musicians. All cultures are not equal. Saudi Arabia is a primative culture.
This band rivals many African bands in its primativity. However, I am quite sure the musicians are indeed enjoying playing this music, which is very worthwhile personally.

It sounds like a middle school band performance.

In the first place, what great world-appreciating music has ever come out of Arabia, all of Arabia????

Noting wrong with the band at all, it’s obvious that they simply lack a director....

Apparently they have never heard my 4th grade school band.

They were playing it in jazz style with Bedouin influences.

Just awful. The woodwinds had no idea of intonation and the trumpets lost whatever grasp they had on tone production as soon as they got into ledger lines. It didn't help when a clueless trumpet lost track of which verse they were on and played some ending flourishes a verse before the end. Of course, the dignitaries had to suffer through it, but this was truly awful. If the performance was this bad, can you imagine how horrid the rehearsals were?

They play like I sing. Even my cat howls and runs away.

The Look on Trump’s face at the end was worth the damage that “music” did to my ears. LOL.

It sounds remarkably like the Mexican Air Force band care of The Firesign Theater.
