Hersh on Biden’s Ukraine Corruption Quagmire: “This is Not Just Bad Leadership. There is None.”

Corruption in US vassal state Ukraine is “rampant”, charges Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Seymour Hersh in his latest Substack article. At least $400 M have been embezzled buying Diesel fuel from Russia, with which the Ukraine is allegedly at war. Hersh charges a “total breakdown” of leadership and trust in the US government as “the US army is getting ready to go to war.”

The Ukraine government, headed by Volodymyr Zelensky, has been “using American taxpayers’ funds to pay dearly for the vitally needed diesel fuel” including fuel from Russia, which it – and the USA – are ostensibly at war with, Hersh writes.

Ukrainian President Zelensky and many in his entourage have been “skimming untold millions from the American dollars earmarked for diesel fuel payments”, Hersh writes. “One estimate by analysts from the Central Intelligence Agency put the embezzled funds at $400 million last year, at least. “

Hersh’s sources compared the level of corruption to that of the Afghan war, where the US puppet government embezzled $19 billion, according to the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR).

The intel sources predicted “there will be no professional audit reports emerging from the Ukraine.” Several House Republicans like Marjorie Taylor Greene have called for an audit of US taxpayer spending in Ukraine.

Corrupt politicians in Kiev have been literally “competing … to set up front companies for export contracts for weapons and ammunition with private arms dealers around the world, all of which provide kickbacks”, Hersh wrote. “I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that there are others in places like the Cayman Islands and Panama, and there are lots of Americans involved,” a US expert on international trade told Hersh.

The biggest error with the U.S. and NATO support to Ukraine is that it has been 100% reactive to immediate circumstances with zero strategic plan under it. It has from the start to now merely fumabled along.

More anonymous sources, Hersh?

Not saying the corruption doesn't exist, but, Hersh has a habit of bomb throwing, then running away.

Haven't been able to verify the diesel thing or the Burns meeting, yet.

Trump’s attemp to address this issue became a major episode in the kaleidoscope and circus of the deconstructiRepublic. American constitutional democratic republic.

I would not doubt it, nor do I doubt his reporting on the Nordstream pipeline.

I am not a big fan of Hersh by any stretch and he has a history of “Gateway Punditry” if that can be a term, but I don’t discount him either and he is calling them out from the hard left.

I find him to be far more credible than the NYT, his old employer.

How ironic that a honest liberal reporter is more honest about Ukraine and proxy war with Russia than multiple neocon fools here.

I agree. His book on the IAF raid on the Iraqi reactor was interesting.

“One estimate by analysts from the Central Intelligence Agency put the embezzled funds at $400 million last year, at least. “

Of the $100 billion or more of the so-called "Ukraine aid" - the vast majority of it stays in the USA - payments to defense contractors, movements of military staff and equipment around, funding of state department programs, intelligence budgets, etc..

So relative to the direct share Ukraine actually receives - the percentage that goes to thievery is probably quite high.

Moreover, US deep state thievery is likely MUCH LARGER.

They are all panicking because Russia is about to suffer an offensive.

At base, they HATE America and love our enemies.

And fools here have joined the marxists.

This situation has pulled the mask off a lot of people who have revealed themselves to be blithering idiots. Typically, we suspect newbie accounts as being outside trolls, but we have posts from people who have supposedly signed up twenty years ago who have gone off the deep end. Any criticism of Biden foreign policy is met with responses of "Putin puffer" and similar laughable insults.

And that's exactly how to tell who's losing - the one responding to the other's initiatives. The current loser is the reacting to the agressor's X.

Not a good place to be after we spent 4x Russia's entire military budget.

They are all panicking because Russia is about to suffer an offensive.

The “leaked intelligence reports” reveal that this is expected to be a complete flop. The Russians are dug in and ready to slaughter all the poor people who have been abducted from the streets and their homes and sent into the meat grinder with little to no training. The Russians are not losing any sleep over this.

The fact that we are sponsoring this type of awful crime against the Ukrainian people by leadership that was installed by ongoing interference in their elections process makes our own country culpable in this travesty.

Several FReepers I held in high regard are now high on my idiot list. Very disappointed in some of them.

Underlying reasons could be Polish or Ukrainian relatives - or perhaps some business interest or political connection - or perhaps they're just jaundiced neocons who drink each others swill.

Hahahahaha

When you listen to marxists and paid traitors you learn crap.

When you talk to patriots you get facts.

Who needs a great muggle like you to tell us what is going to happen, when you were already wrong about what’s happened so far.

Just as I’m typing to you, Williams slimes in - like some sniveling bitch - and just labels us all “Marxists” because we won’t get onboard with his $4ithole.

Williams is a perfect example of a FReeper who turned his name into MUDD.

I’ll say this, it doesn’t take long for anyone to realize that Joe Biden is definitely someone else’s dog.. He completely ignores the whats and needs of our own nation..

And maybe you’ve become a marxist you idiot.

Our government isn’t run by neocons but your fantasies are fun, aren’t they?

Is Milley a neocon?

You all learned a new word and like toddlers you point your fingers everywhere and repeat it.

“NEOCONS!”
