Plus the Judge wouldn’t allow what would have been normal defense in similar cases, such as they were reporting on and giving opinions on the words of The President of The united States, something that would have been covered by the first amendment if it was not Donald Trump saying it. In this case President Trump and his staff were stating what they believed at the time was true, triggering the Fox News reporting. Also they wouldn’t let fox news show a Jury video evidence of the disclaimers given by the hosts of the various shows. What the idiot corporate media don’t understand about this is now the precedent has been set, busting the old Sullivan rules, is that Trump’s civil lawsuits over the “Russia Hoax” show now make all of them pay hefty settlements to trump for spreading what many of them knew were lies as truth and ruining his reputation with many Americans.
