This could have quite an impact beyond what the Mattel marketing department thinks. I wonder if the people at the National Down Syndrome Society explained that possibility as they touted diversity to Mattel? In popular circles diversity has precise meaning.

There were a few people who thought Mattel was being too ‘Woke’, but this is an interesting spin IMHO.
