I saw III this afternoon.
I think some of the visuals, being shot for 3D, got a bit too congested in 2D.
Other than that, it was fun.
Saw it yesterday afternoon, enjoyed.
I like the comedy and drama but all
the over the top action and violence
a bit much.
During the half hour of previews
captioning was somehow turned on.
It kept going first 10 minutes of movie.
Projector turned off and employee came
out to apologize and say they’d restart
it from beginning, no captions. Boy asked his dad if they were gonna rerun all the ads again (half hr of previews).
Same theatre 2016 I saw Zootopia
with funny scene of sloths working the
Dept of “Mammal” Vehicles. Funny as
an office of Mass Registry of Motor Vehicles was right around the corner
in same shopping mall.
These days DVDs are used.
In the days when film was used:
—Film broke during Cadillac Man
—Born on Fourth of July suddenly turned
into film about giant sandworms;
distorted picture (70mm v 35mm)—Tremors. There
had been an error in film cannisters.
Went back two days later to see film
the right way
