If I would have known that you could get loans of money that you could say you were using for education but instead financed trips to Cancun with, I would have been all over that college sh!t. 60 tons of frozen steel in Graf in the winter (3X) was much more character building.
My dear mother, who spent much of her adult life raising 7 kids at home while Dad worked 2 jobs, went to work outside as a secretary when she was 50, when our youngest sibling was a teenager. She worked (and paid into social security) for about 12-13 years, then collected social security for the next 33 years.
I estimate she collected 15X-20X what she paid in.
Its not just LBJ’s “great society” programs that were a scam.
You always have the option to start paying it back by not cashing your Social Security checks and never going on Medicare.
