I only listened for three minutes and did not hear anything racist. I don’t know that it was wrong to give a eulogy for Senator Byrd.
Byrd was once asked about his past. He wailed “how many time must I apologize?” I don’t know that he ever apologized. I think he just wanted to establish ground rules first.
By way of contrast, President Trump was asked if he would “finally” denounce White supremacists. He did. This was repeated, and filmed, about 40 times. He should have taken a page from Senator Byrd and wailed “How many times must I denounce White supremacism?”
If Trump had given a eulogy for a KKK Grand Klugal do you thing the press would ignore it? Gimme a break. Biden’s been insulting black people for decades.
