I don't know of any offical "rules" but generally, one always posts the name of the freeper if he is responding to them or critiquing them... IOWS....you don't talk about someone in a post unless you make them aware of it (ping them)....

one shouldn't carry grudges from thread to thread....

Yes. Standard internetiquette requires a courtesy ping, and FR is no exception.

Yep. I've been a monthly for many years now. It wouldn't take that many to make the Freepathons complete in a single month. I remember when two months was not uncommon; now we struggle for three.
