“TB is the great infectious disease that nobody ever thinks about.” Well, except for the gain of function scumbags who developed this strain.

I actually had active TB 5 years ago. I think I picked up the bacterium 30-40 years ago while living in Miami and as I grew older and my immune system deteriorated it became an active infection. Fortunately it wasn’t the antibiotic resistant variety. I assume I was exposed to it from the many illegals residing down there. The state health dept gets involved when there is a TB diagnosis and they keep close tabs on you until you complete the extended treatment plan. Someone from the health dept would show up to my door every day and hand me several pills and had to watch me take them in person. The entire episode was very degrading.

Oh goodie! If Joe times it right, he can shut down the country and impose nationwide mail in balloting just in time for the 2024 election.
A new pandemic is not a bug, it’s a feature.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.

I recovered from TB. In the 1960s, I was subjected to the "prong test" to determine if I had or ever was infected with the disease. My reaction: positive. I was taken to a hospital on a school bus for a chest X-ray, along with 26 other students who were also positive. The radiologist determined that I had calcium deposits in my lungs that had encapsulated the TB. Later in life I went through a treatment protocol (Isoniazid) to eliminate any latent infection.
From differential diagnosis, my primary care physician determined that I had caught the disease about a year before the screening. It explained the "bad cold" with constant coughing I went through, for about six weeks.

In 2021, 30.6% of all tuberculosis infections in the United States were amongst Hispanics.
Take a look at a map of the United States showing where the impact of tuberculosis is the greatest. The states most impacted are Texas, California, and New York all areas with large populations of recent migrants from south of the border.
Oh, gee....really? Thanks, XiDen regime!!

Worldwide, the United States is home to more international migrants than any other country, and more than the next four countries – Germany, Saudi Arabia, Russia, and the United Kingdom, combined.
But, the US needs to reform its immigration laws to allow even MORE people into the country.

It protected the United States from unwanted criminals
and many communicable diseases that we had already eradicated here .

My niece and family was shocked when she was diagnosed with TB before starting med school in the early 2000s. I wasn’t. If one is that highly educated and moneyed, they should know better than to go camping/ slumming/ backpacking in places like Mexico. As a flaming liberal, it’s no surprise she ignored history or any theory of medicine.
