Cable news is NOT moving any needles.
It has become as irrelevant as the NYT, WashPo, and WSJ.
The issue is not whether or not the interview is moving any needles. The issue is that Trump has now made a bunch of public statements about the case that will limit the possibles defenses his lawyers can use, and those statements can be played for the jury in the case whether Trump wants to testify or not. If any of those statements differ from the evidence the prosecutors present, the jury will see Trump as a liar. There are a number of attorneys that have also opined that Trump basically admitted to the elements of the obstruction charge against him.
