I am not defending anyone here but I am countering all these negative postings. (Come-on-man and may God save the queen).

Let's say that your family went missing on a boat and the Coast Guard said that they had radar and sonar evidence that the boat blew up and sank. Would you want the search to continue until the bodies were found?

What do you do when there won't be any bodies to find?

Let's change your scenario a bit. Suppose they were flying on an experimental tourist ship into space and the ship sprung a leak and they all died. Would you want someone to mount a rescue mission into space to retrieve the bodies?

Would that even be possible? Who would have a space ship on stand-by to do it, what would be the cost, and who would pay it?
