Box office analyst and YouTuber Valliant Renegade has estimated that the Walt Disney Co. has lost $890 million on the last eight studio releases, including the woke Little Mermaid remake and Elemental, an anti-racism animated film featuring a non-binary character. The films contributing to the losses include “Lightyear,” “Thor: Love and Thunder,” “Strange World,” “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” “The Little Mermaid,” and “Elemental.”
Valliant Renegade said that the eight films cost roughly $2.75 billion but only brought in $1.86 billion.
“That can’t go on forever. It’s just simple numbers, folks,” Valliant Renegade said in a video about his estimate. “That’s where we are. The Walt Disney Company is just making all the wrong decisions not only creatively, but in the distribution channels as well.”

In the days of being able to rent and stream 1st run movies I don’t know who the economics of the movie industry works these days. I do know that movie theaters keep 50% of ticket sales but I don’t know how much the streaming services take for each movie rental. I don’t know whether streaming is a net plus or minus for the studios.
Disney has a new Star Wars movie planned with a Transvestite as you know ,LOL
How do movies cost that much to make…unless money laundering to progressive interests is involved?
Woke plays a part in this but Disney is going downhill on a lot of fronts. Their non-Woke movies are old, tired and formulaic. Their new movies are Woke. That is a formula for losing money.
You would think shareholders would revolt against losing value for in kind political donations.
“How do movies cost that much to make…”
Max, care to comment sir?
“I don’t know who the economics of the movie industry works these days”
It’s all probably a few years from being obsolete anyway. Soon every schmoe with a computer will be able to make convincing animations of any celebrity, complete with AI-generated voices. Then we can all make our own movies and leave the woke nonsense out.
You’re under the mistaken belief that they’re in business to make money - when in reality - where I live - (Miss You, Rush!), they’re in business to CORRUPT the children of less than vigilant parents.
Disney tentacles are everywhere. Movies, TV, cruise ships, theme parks and merchandise, merchandise, merchandise!
And this is WORLD-WIDE! *SPIT*
Every Company Disney Owns:

The cost of a movie is why they dont ask 50 Y.O. white guys “ what do you want to see”. they arent inspirational enough. so hollywood is imploding on itself. they no longer want to hear what experts have to say, safety is overrated and costs too much.
Not these shareholders...

Still wondering if Disney now exists to launder money for Deep State...
Guardians made Disney a lot of money, but the rest were bombs.
Keep alienating your customers and make products people don’t want.
That was darn funny!
I am SO looking forward to the copyright on Steamboat Willie running out next year. We’ll see their precious Willie on all sorts of things. Me, I hope someone prints it on rolls of toilet paper. I’ll buy a case
I streamed one of their recent Marvel films and was disappointed in the weak script and the propaganda of a young girl describing her life of being raised by two mothers in a female/female marriage. The leading Marvel superhero thought it was peachy. I felt I was being lectured to.
Insanity says that, losing $1 billion in sales is worth it as woke policies have a chance to work.
But, the insanity gets even worse when it’s apparent that people won’t accept woke policies being shoved down their throats, and those pushing wokeness double-down on doing ti.
That was actually quite enjoyable to watch.
